Zero discharge to the environment
We operate domestic wastewater treatment plants (PTARD) at camps and the plant, reusing treated water for road irrigation and green areas.

We successfully completed the corresponding verification audit, consolidating our progress in climate management.
We operate domestic wastewater treatment plants (PTARD) at camps and the plant, reusing treated water for road irrigation and green areas.

Our Filtration Plant recirculates approximately 85% of the water used in mineral processing, reducing the consumption of fresh water.

We carry out baseline monitoring of flora and fauna in dry and wet seasons, identifying the main species and ecosystems in our area of influence.

We manage our waste according to the principles of prevention, minimisation, valorisation and responsible final disposal.
Our handling runs from source segregation through to valorisation and compliance with our obligations before the regulators.
We apply source segregation, proper storage and final disposal through authorised Solid Waste Operating Companies (EO-RS).
We valorise cardboard, paper, plastics, scrap metal, wood, used oils and batteries, minimising the volume sent to final disposal.
We treat organic waste at our own composting centre and keep our declarations up to date on official regulatory platforms.

We generate well-being for the communities and environment where we operate
We strengthen our relationship with communities in our area of influence on the basis of respect, transparency and trust.
As part of our vision to create shared value, we make donations, drive social programmes and fund infrastructure initiatives that contribute to the development of the region.
We promote open dialogue with our stakeholders through a complaints and suggestions box, a channel designed to address concerns and resolve situations in a timely and mutually satisfactory manner.

We recognise and value the interests, cultures and traditions of our workers, collaborators and the communities with which we interact.
We actively promote a culture of respect for human rights among our workers, collaborators and stakeholders. We maintain zero tolerance for child labour and forced labour across all our operations and value chain.
We apply due diligence processes to our collaborators to verify that they share these principles and standards of conduct.
